    Ramos is the greatest hitter to ever put on a Cajun uniform. His flair for the dramatic made him all the more compelling. I remember leaving the BR regional thinking that was the greatest hitting display I had ever seen.

    Don...I’ve asked this before without anyone remembering. A dust up a home plate, think Kelly was the coach and a pizza was involved. That’s all I recall.

    On many levels he did no more than Smoke L., but the rest is history. The guy had no recruiting budget, little money for housing and zero support from Dr. A. His infractions on scale, were way less than another famous Cajun coach.

    Ok, but he still cheated his ___ off. That was the answer to the question that was asked.

    And, I am aware the restrictions he was under. Robe was under the same when we went to Omaha. The University was paying salaries and scholarships. That was it.
