Car show is just blacktop, no meals, beverage or AC.

Good luck convincing hundreds of wives to get married at a football stadium...I’d love to hear those conversations

We could throw in free music piped in from the football locker room. Save cost on band or DJ.

Hey now, if the wife is a sports fan, we can have the smoke machine on as she walks out of the tunnel down the aisle to the 50 yard line. Now THAT is a grand entrance.

This is where the university failed. That was the whole debate I brought up about the car show back in May. We have a history of financially selling ourselves short. We could’ve easily made some easy money opening small concession stands during that show and could’ve generated a lot more money than we did. Add in charging higher rent than what we charged and that car show becomes a treasure chest for our athletic program.

That’s the key.....our real estate is a lot more valuable than we give it credit for. The university and athletic department need to make it so through bringing in some dollars.

I think you may be on to something there. Can you imagine the beer, lemonade, water and soft drink sales that could happen on those three warm days of the car show. Car places should like having lots of beer out there to soften up the customers.

Nothing like drinking 4-5 beers and going test drive a car you don’t own

Somebody has to rain on every parade. Oh, that's Marci Gras.

C'mon man, bring your designated tester with you and we have that covered.

I guess next we won't be able to drink at football or baseball games.

With-Key Whi-sky for your new Crown-Vic and a designated driver home.

ps Too bad they don't make them like they used to.
