That’s exactly what I’m saying!!! Except I dont believe we can double our fan base. If y’all think I want a 25,000 seatvstadium y’all are retarded. But 38,000-40,000 with SRO of another 1500-2000 is feasible and realistic.

10k is as bad of an idea as 50k. I think you have lived in Texas too long. Bigger is not better. cajun4life is absolutely right about future alignments and scheduling. Just think about the Cajundome and how we all wish it was smaller. The trends are staring us in the face, less people are attending games and the sport is losing popularity amongst kids and parents. Thinking small (but high end) is the right way to go.

When have we ever been as successful as USF? They also play in Raymond James Stadium. Which they don’t fill up either.

Worse, it was a Friday night. High school football is more important.

Those soccer stadiums that seat 30,000-40,000 are within our budget. You guys wanna dream about something like CSU, where will be poopthe $220M to build a beautiful stadium that will only be 90% full once every 20 years?

Design and build a stadium that is realistic to what we are at our best. Hell Houston understood that. They built a 40,000 seat stadium that fits their program, which is a hell of a lot better than ours.

By the way, the current setup at Cajun Field puts us as one of the largest G5 stadiums in the country. We don’t need to be bigger than what we are right now. We need better sightlines and a better atmosphere. A football stadium that has the same type of atmosphere as Russo and Landon Park.

    Cajun4life, Cajunjeaux....

We're not gonna build a freakin' soccer stadium.

We're not gonna, one day, drop football and play soccer.

We ARE going to grow our football program and our attendance average.

We're planning accordingly. You should too.
