wow, i cant believe i dont recall that.....dumb question, could that mean it was an anti-us call, rather than a rigging for lswho call?

Over the decades there have been many late game controversial calls that cost us games in NCAA sports. All the calls upon closer examination shouldn’t have happened. There’s never been a single call like that go our way. Strange how it always goes P5 way.

To their way of thinking, Louisiana is not supposed to be in that position often enough for people to take notice.

    I beg to differ.

...and Yvette saying she thought the runner was out. Did anyone else hear her disagree with the guy who said she was safe?

She said that initially, then said it was close. If Lexie touched her left leg, she's out. Only thing that made it questionable is if she missed the tag on the leg and caught her high. The replay angles were not ideal to see that. But, just based on Lexie's reaction and the pic showing the top of her glove bent backwards with what appears to be against the runner's left leg, she be out.

I printed the photo in the first post, then enlarged the photo as much as I could - If you look closely, Lexie's glove is right on the runner's left thigh AND it is sweeping across her left forearm. In the Morning Advocate photo, the runner's left arm has gone downward to the plate and Lexie's glove is on the runner's right shoulder. Therefore, it would be logical that that the tag was applied to the left thigh, chest and right shoulder as the runner was reaching down. The Morning Advocate is a photo and not a frame, I think, and is pretty clear. The combination of the two reinforces my belief that Lexie had to have tagged her out. And the umpire is looking right at it as well as facing the Tiger fans.

If you want to get your blood boiling a little more, go to theadvocate.com and look at their photo - it is shameful when you look at the ESPN frame next to it.
KLFY News 10 had a slo mo video last night showing the play at home. No way runner should have been called safe. Maybe they archive their broadcasts.
