I don’t usually go with the fleaux, but I will this time. Glasco and his staff have impressed me. Geaux Cajuns.

    Default Thank You, Ladies

Before this season started, there was so much turmoil and division between the fans and the community over the drama that went down in the Fall. We lost some supporters, we lost players, and there was even a question of whether or not we would field a team.

But in comes Coach Glasco who had just a month or so to bring in his staff, start recruiting, and then start Spring practice right away. We finished 1/2 game short of the regular season conference title, we came up one game short of winning the conference tournament, and we came up just one game short of a super regional. If you ask me, Coach Glasco and his crew deserve some HIGH praise with what he was able to do with those girls.

Also, to the girls who stayed, THANK YOU for riding it out. Your perseverance will always be etched in Ragin’ Cajun softball history.

Now next year, we will have Fall practice. We will have a full year of recruiting. We will have a better understanding of what this team will have coming in before the first pitch in 2019. It’s safe to say that Coach Glasco has begun his recruiting with some VERY good commitments coming in. It’s definitely an exciting time for our softball program. We rode this year out. Now, it’s time to grind and fight on. Geaux Cajuns!

This team doubled my expectations in the regular season

What they have done in the post season is beyond measure greatness.

This is regardless of their having to face banned umpires with and admitted agenda.

Great Season Lady Cajuns!! Glasco needs to hit the recruiting trail. Time to see what he can do when he gets his players in there. Also love Glasco he fought for his team. Definitely the coach we need on the Softball field.
