We were reacting to the body of work at the time, not a game or even a weekend. They lost three (four if you count USA) conference series before they won one. It was reasonable.

And B, I'm not even upset with people for saying we wouldn't make the conference tourney. I don't really care one way or the other. In fact, it's more fun when people have different ideas of what the season will bring. My view is, people shouldn't get upset when a player reminds people that they were wrong... For a number of reasons.

My main issue is timing. Win the tourney next week and shut everyone up. Sunbelt West is not the goal. Postseason is.

The intent was to throw it in the face of the doubters.. The irony is, 99% of the people here would say the same thing. Maybe not publicly, but they'd definitely be saying it.

MAT, any time something like this happens on social media, the offending parties get all butt hurt and try to find ways to justify what they've done or criticize those who are critical.

You can tell who the guilty parties are on here by their responses to HM's tweet.

I'm sure Robe wasn't happy with the tweet. He wants his players to ignore the doubters, not lower themselves to their level.
