Not sure if you are talking to me but if we didn’t win the west we would have been the 6 seed possibly 7...so where does that put you? For a guy who logged 4 innings this season he could have put positive attention on his teammates instead...but that wouldn’t have gotten him any personal attention.

Big picture was a losing record and team BA under .140 after 15 games. I am glad they turned it around, but a winning season was in doubt until well into the 2nd half.

If Handsome needs to insult the fans that pay their bills, to win the tourney, so be it.

When my wife and I were looking to buy a house, she liked a certain place. I thought it was "meh". We looked at a lot of houses. She kept coming back to that house....finally I agreed and we bought it.

What was the difference? I saw the house as it was. She saw the house as what it could be.

I NEVER thought we'd miss the conference tournament. That doesn't make me better than anyone. That simply shows some of us saw this team as what it could be.

Actually, I think we agree. I posted in March there was no way we had BA under .200 for the year. That was not possible, but I just had no idea what that meant in terms of the tourney.

At that time, we were 10th, 11th place, so the tourney was probable, if I had thought about it.

I had no control, so I gave it little thought. I am usually only thinking about two days ahead anyway

To the "haven't done anything yet" people..
His comment was about people saying (and no, it wasn't just a question.. people were actually SAYING they would not make the tournament) they wouldn't make the conference tournament.. Not only did they make it, they won the west. If you want to squabble over percentage points and seeding, that's on you, but YES, they did do something.. something some here were saying they wouldn't do.

It took a lot out of me to not remind Todd that he has struck out close to 50% oh the time.

Yea, whatever motivates them! I don't respond,because I've never tweeted a negative comment towards any of them. That's what this board is for; venting, projecting,etc;
