Big moments are not too big for him. Is he are next Jace Conrad? Always figured he would find a way to impact the game favorably his last year. Of course Cantrelle is just a freshman which gives encouragement for the future. On some of his fly outs in previous games I thought when he gets stronger those will get to the wall. Maybe that is starting to happen now. 23 wins in a row vs the Warhawks. Considering the type of sport baseball is that is one of the most amazing stats I have ever heard of. One day ULM will beat the Cajuns. Tonight was not that time.

Congrats to Hayden and the team. Another gutsy win.

He has always been a gamer. Glad to see that he is taking it to this next level.

Yes it was. Somewhat amusing reading the game thread post game. Performance was not so embarrassing after all. Baseball is a very mental sport. No matter how much you hustle you are not guaranteed to get the results you want. Hard hit balls can find gloves hundreds of times and good pitches can be blooped in for game winning hits. That is why they play so many games and why the phrase "that's baseball" was created.

Mike, he is a natural SS. What his ceiling is, I haven't a clue at this point. Provided he stays healthy and his body fills out while remaining fluid, we will be talking about a draftable junior in a few years.

I'm most impressed by his intelligence at the plate. You hardly ever see him look overmatched.

Man you are terrible...25th consecutive win against a conference mate the same as giving an FCS move up their first FBS win?

Lannister went mia once we won. His hatred for Talbot has clouded his judgement to where wins are less important than getting people fired.
