Five members of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team earned a spot in the NCAA East Preliminary Round as the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced the participants for the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships preliminary competitions.
