I think A&M BR would be better

Not sure what you’re trying to say Mike? Men’s NIT or women’s.

Softball is one of the fastest growing sports period. No women’s sports create a blip on macro level, but you’d be wrong to dismiss softball. It’s growing in all areas. Naturally it’s not going to be big in cities like NY because of land use. But it’s big in red counties who way outnumber blue counties.

Yeah...I’ve got to be honest, and I know basketball, even the NIT, likely moves the needle more than Softball Regionals.

But I’d sure as hell get more excited about our girls pulling an upset and going to a Super Regional, which is reserved for only 16 teams in the country, than any win we’d get in the NIT, which means we were left out of the Top 64.

Who gives a ____? How we compete on the field is what I want.

Interesting but very predictable interview. Too many "softball" questions and typical answers avoiding some issues. I wish he would have asked how anyone can justify the SEC hosting 9 regionals. She said they don't look at the fact that all SEC teams got in. BS.

Chairman says they do not pay attention to conferences, but to body of work, bad losses, RPI as starting element. - Chairman lost credibility to me when she said they did not consider Conferences, but strength of schedule, when we all know Strength of Schedule is artificially built into being on a SEC schedule. Agree on BS.

I would like to see the most current tv numbers for NCAA Softball vs. men's NIT.

The fact of the matter is that the SEC teams had higher RPI's, higher SOS, and more quality wins than teams in other conferences. If one looks strictly at the numbers, it was a no brainer that 9 SEC hosted regionals.
