Third base ump had a clear line of Stover on the bag across the diamond, but was not looking. I would imagine that is why Babineaux was so upset with the third base umpire.

Ugh - pretty good description of the last two days. They look so good for a game or two then the Ugh factor seems to just creep back in. Whether it's pitching, defense or hitting, the Ugh just keeps coming back.

Sundays have just been a circus recently. It’s tough baseball to follow. We can look so good at times then once you get past our front line arms, there’s really nothing else. It’s like these guys run out of gas.
