We have won 5 in a row once and 4 in a row once and both have been in the last 30 days.

The only advantage of being out would be that we would see what kind of corrections or changes they intend to make sooner rather than later. If nothing is done then we would have to assume that they are satisfied with the status quo. If something is done it will be interesting to see what that may be.

In either case, off season moves or changes (or lack thereof) will be interesting to see and I am sure will be subject to extensive discussion on this board and elsewhere.

Technically he's right. App State was a 3 game series in 2 days. Coupled with some days off in between games, we haven't won on 3 consecutive days yet this year.

But in a conference tournament, we don't need to win on 3 consecutive days either. Win on Wednesday and Thursday, and you get Friday off.

Win the conference tourney..don’t leave it up to a human selection committee..more often than not we are on the short end of that stick

That’s going to be a tough task without a consistent 3rd starter.

No tougher than getting an at large without one...time for the bats to step up, if we don’t have a 3rd then we don’t have a 4th..finishing 4-3 ain’t gonna cut it.

This hasn't been true historically in baseball. We've gone to way more regionals as an at large than champions.

How many times on the bubble? When we have gone it’s usually a no doubter...only 6 of the 16 regionals have been obtained without being regular season or conference tourney champs. 3 of the 6 came in a 4 year span from 99-2002.

Remind me on the format please. Isn’t it double elimination until the championship game? Then a one game for the ship?

Beat TXST. Then Tulane. Then ULM. Easy.

Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina is about to put away visiting North Carolina ... leading 5-2 with one out in the T9th.

Troy and Mississippi State are tied 4-4 B6th (MSU is home).
