That’s going to be a tough task without a consistent 3rd starter.

No tougher than getting an at large without one.time for the bats to step up, if we don’t have a 3rd then we don’t have a 4thfinishing 4-3 ain’t gonna cut it.

This hasn't been true historically in baseball. We've gone to way more regionals as an at large than champions.

How many times on the bubble? When we have gone it’s usually a no doubter.only 6 of the 16 regionals have been obtained without being regular season or conference tourney champs. 3 of the 6 came in a 4 year span from 99-2002.

Remind me on the format please. Isn’t it double elimination until the championship game? Then a one game for the ship?

Beat TXST. Then Tulane. Then ULM. Easy.

Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina is about to put away visiting North Carolina . leading 5-2 with one out in the T9th.

Troy and Mississippi State are tied 4-4 B6th (MSU is home).

I dont think we can retain focus and hitting to win the conference tourney . I think we finish strong and finish close. Oh, and Robe does what he needs to do with our hitting coach and whoever else he deems to be not doing his job.

Single elimination for seeds 7-10. Double elimination at that point in each bracket. Bracket winners play one game for the championship.

Would be ashame for the Sun belt to not get at least 2 teams in this year. SBC’s RPI is sitting at 7th highest conference RPI currently.

As of today, the Sun Belt would be a one bid league unless someone other than Coastal wins the tournament.

The Cajuns can work their way into a bid.

Troy has a good RPI but is in fourth place in the east. And, they do not have a good record against the RPI top 50. They blew a chance to make a statement last night against Miss. St.

South has played their way off the bubble.

Robe's squads are built to win a weekend series, a 4 team Regional and a Super Regional.

They are nowhere near built to win a tournament, the CWS, or the old 8 team Regionals we used to have.

We got to Omaha because of our pitching. We did very well in Omaha because of our hitting. That year we set offensive records. This is not one of those years.

If the Cajuns finish strong and lose on Championship Sunday to someone not named Coastal, the Belt will send 3 teams to regional play.
