I doubt if it matters, as far as the post season is concerned. Cajuns will not host a regional, which means going to Baton Rouge, and Texas State wasn't going to host either. They'll go to College Station (likely) or Waco (much less likely).

There's no one else in the 400 mile radius of Baton Rouge that would "qualify" as a #2 seed, so, yeah, I see the Cajuns as a #2 seed.

Interesting to see how they pair up since the top 16 are heavy SEC, with some Big 12 or Pac 12 and FSU. They'll have to put any 2 seed SEC teams with those Big 12, Pac 12 hosted sites

I thought the same thing when I read it, but then I think he was talking about those as other 1 seeds for us to go to. IDK, I may be wrong

Ok, I get that. But even from that standpoint, Auburn and Tuscaloosa are over 400 miles from Lafayette, Mississippi State will not be hosting and Baylor, if they host, are more likely to get Texas State than the Cajuns. If the committee doesn't send us to Baton Rouge, they will likely have to fly all three opponents to Baton Rouge. It is highly doubtful they will do that.
