Pressure, pressure, pressure.....bases loaded with two out in the bottom of the 12th leading 3-2...strike out for the win.

Whew.
Man, two guy wrenching wins on the diamond today
Intense
It's no secret that we took one hell of a lick when we lost our three best returning starters and had to find a coach very late in the game. I never thought we would be this good considering the situation. I hope we go a long way this post season, but next year and going forward could be special.
They can beat most anyone. They can also lose to very mediocre teams. They’ve proven both of those facts this season.
As it always is in the post season, it’s all about the draw. I’d actually like to see them placed in like the 13+ seed regional and it looks like they have a good shot at that with teams like LSUA&M, Bama, TAMU, Auburn and Baylor all around that RPI. They’d have a shot to get out of it and just fight like hell in the super. We pitch enough to stay in games, it’s just can we consistently hit?
Frenchie,
we have two bombers on the bench that will be good to go next year:
Raina Wilson, a transfer from Texas Tech, hit twelve long-balls to lead TTU as a freshman and second in Big 12 conference - TTU would not give her a release to play with us this year (probably still sore for letting Lexie Elkins go to us); and
Brittany Holland, our injured/medical redshirt sophomore, was a first-team JC All-American last year and hit 15 home runs and 81 RBI's.
Gonna be fun next year, and I bet Coach's phone will be ringing off the hook after the season.
But for the moment, I am all in for the gutty team we have now. As stated, we can beat anybody at times - maybe our gris gris will show up!!!
