UL Splits Series With UTA

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — _The UL_Ragin’ Cajuns once again had to settle for a Sun Belt Conference split Saturday with a 6-1 win over UTA in the nightcap after watching an 3-0 lead in game one end in a 4-3 loss in the team's final league road series of the season.

The positive in this is that Texas State got double dipped by Troy, so the Cajuns are now two games in back of the Bobcats in the loss column with 4 games left. As unlikely as it seems, there's still a chance to be conference regular season champions.

Cajuns can’t close out again. Took a 2-1 lead into the 7th and allow a run in Game 3. Extra innings again. It seems like most of the extra inning games that they are in this year are a result of not closing. We lost the last 3 of these.
