However, he's irrelevant now and our qb competition just got a little bit closer grouped together. I'm not completely soled on Levi just yet. His feet get way too dancy while he's going through his reads and it makes me nervous. I'm still behind Nunez - he's calm, cool, and down for whatever.
I would have thought he'd be rejuvenated, not burned out with the coaching change.

I thought that was the coaches's fault?

I have been told we will not bring in a transfer QB.
I am not enamored with Lewis at this point either, but people that I respect and value their opinion believe he can play. I will hold out hope, because the word is, coaches love him and he will be the guy.

QB will probably not be a strength this year, but if Lewis can hold on to the ball a little longer there should be some open receivers. I think removing a potential QB starter from the mix will help.

I think the race is still open. If Lewis turns out to be the guy, I hope the coaches see more than what has been shown.

And I REALLY hope we are not seeing a repeat of what doomed Miles and Hud, athlete worship.

We are building towards the future. A grad transfer will set the program back again. Coaching staff will live with Levi for a year and if he doesn’t show potential they will bring in a guy that they prefer. Grad transfer isn’t the answer. I would of definatly thought Jordan had the upper hand provided the experience he has gotten, but Levi might be turning the corner under the new coaching. Trust the process

Ultimately it is Hud's fault. But he simply is not willing to dump the ball when appropriate. That's in his DNA. Hud said thanks for getting beat up.

All I've ever said about a transfer is I'll support whomever Napier brings into this program. However, to reject a former 5 star, Bama QB signee with 2 years left who was being coached by Napier last season just because he is a transfer is a bit short sighted.

I am seeing this QB race from a much different perspective than most on this board it would appear. QB A had the best QB stats of any one on the roster last season. QB A worked with the #1 offense in the Spring.

Yet, some people here seem to want to hand the job to QB B.
