So you pull Perrin for the 9th in a 9-1 ball game and now Leaumont has thrown nearly 30 pitches in the 9th. In a 5 game week, it would be nice to have Leaumont available on Wednesday. No need to burn him tonight.

Leaumont or Dmo. Perrin was over 100 pitches. Longest outing of the year. Was the right call.

I’ve got to give it to this team. They continue to find reasons for optimism even for part time pessimists like myself. They’ve played god aweful baseball at times, blown huge leads and driven you to drink just by watching them swing the bat. However, they can still put it together at times and win games that you just didn’t have a good feeling about.

Perrin did great tonight, too.

Also, noticeable silence from the LATURD camp. Must be busy drinking by the train tracks and wizzing on the Love shack.

Leaumont has done nothing but get outs the last couple weeks, often in tough spots. I don’t think this last inning with an 8 run lead necessarily outweighs that work.
