Look, I'm excited as hell as anyone that we are where we are after what we have been through and with our anemic production at the plate, whatever the cause of that lack of production may be.
But I don't think even a 20 RPI gets this team a top 16 seed as we now continue to prove that regardless of our recent success in the W column, we are just NOT a decent hitting team and won't be one this year.
I just hope and pray we make it into the field of 64, by hook or by crook. There are things we have done this year that show that this team is deserving as many of that opportunity.
Haha. LaFleur looks hell bent on getting below .200. I think the other three have found comfort in the .160 to .185 range. Kasuls will probably stay above the Mendoza line because we have our .270 DH protecting him.

I was basically stating that if our batting average was anywhere near the nation average, we could’ve easily added 5-6 wins to the record which would’ve put us around a current record of 28-14. Of course, our rpi would be higher. How much higher? I donno.
