Not disagreeing. It just shows how pathetic we are on offense that a 8 hole hitter batting a buck seventy gets kudos for his offensive play.
I am so impressed this team is eeking out wins with frankly the worst college offense I have ever seen.
Truth be known I usually skip our at bats and only watch us in the field. It makes for a more enjoyable game. My expectation for this team is for us to get to the conference tournament and have a .120 batting Stover deliver a game winning hit.
Is hoping for a sweep with three straight shutouts too much to ask?
Our offense is what it is. We have the winning formula despite it though. Good pitching, defense, and timely hitting. If any team has a struggling offense and can still figure out how to win, it is a Robe team. I've accepted that our offense is not great and won't be great. I will worry about it's improvement after this season's last out. It's too late for anything to change it. Time to focus on what can be done to keep winning.
