Great post.. Don't know if Robe will make that change next season . Hearing from people who I trust that Robe just isn't receptive to firing Talbot at end of season. This is where Maggard needs to stand up and order it.

Great post.. Don't know if Robe will make that change next season . Hearing from people who I trust that Robe just isn't receptive to firing Talbot at end of season. This is where Maggard needs to stand up and order it.

If he was receptive to firing Toxic Talbot at the end of the season but KNOWS he won't do it during the season, then no reason to let on that he is receptive to firing after the season is complete. He should keep his cards in the hole.

FYI: FIRST place in the West = 2 seed in the conference tournament (since best conference record is in the East) - if the season ended today - Cajuns beat UTA 2/3, thus would capture the #2 seed.

With a few more “good arms” we have a chance to finish the season with no .300 hitters, 3 sub .200 hitters, and the holy grail...a full time starter hitting .100.
I love how we are so economical with our runs. No reason to score too much more than the opposition. Kudos to Talbot for recognizing the situation.
