McGuire was not on the team last year. All we heard here was poor coaching and not using our talent. With that remedied, why should we not expect an uptick in the win column?

I expect 7-8 wins. Offensively we can beat anyone in the Sun Belt if we play a clean game.

Defensively we will have to create turnovers and find a way to Pressure the QB.

What the hell does it matter he wasn't here last year? He was wasted. Hence "like" Eli McGuire. He wasn't the only example, only the most egregious.

It’s always about wins and losses. Many here said we were a poorly coached team that misused its talent. It would stand to reason that a better coach with better assistants and a renewed emphasis on nutrition should result in more wins than last year. I think 6-7 wins is a reasonable expectation for this team.

That would be great. I agree on your keys. I expect us to give up a lot of yards on defense, but if we can bend and not break it could get us to 7 wins.

Injuries will probably be as important as the schemes we run. Because of our small numbers we will need to stay relatively healthy to be bowl eligible. If we have a rash of injuries I would not put that on the staff.

Hopefully with the addition of the nutrition staff and conditioning injuries will be at a minimum but its part of football.. I do think we win 7 games +- 1 but won't be devastated if don't go bowling year 1

I was protesting Alabama getting in the playoffs
