Well organized and disciplined. We have enough talent with the incoming signees and the injured athletes that didn't participate to get to a bowl in this conference. August is going to be interesting.

The Saban and Dabo styles attention to detail is obvious ... As well as doing what a coach should do. Coach and teach

This was my big take away from the scrimmage, this coaching staff has focused on coaching the players up and it was evident in execution.

I saw the replay on espn3 and was somewhat impressed. It looked well organized, the players looked focused and I saw lots of effort. Nice to see the QB's showing some poise and several nice throws. It looks to me like we are going in the right direction with the program. My biggest concern still is the talent level across the board, and that will take time. If this staff can recruit as well as it can coach, then we will be in awesome shape.

JD had a bad spring game 2 years ago which caused Anthony Jennings to be brought in. He was fine in last year's spring game and did OK yesterday ( 9 of 13). It's just that by comparison, Lewis "looked" like the most effective player yesterday.

Speaking of "shape", most encouraging to me was the fact that the squad appeared to be in better physical condition than a few months ago.

Coaches are saying this will be the best shape this team has been in the last 10 years.

No, the coach should show the team how much he can bench press, whenever possible.... lol j/j.

Hopefully there won't be any "off the field" distractions that we have had to deal with in the last few years. That will allow the product on the field to be the focus and there is reason to be encouraged from the off season to date.

Is there a way to replay the CST coverage of the Louisiana Spring Game?
