I found it interesting that Lewis took almost all the snaps (Ray was in for one series) for the White team while Nunez and Davis alternated at QB for the Vermilion team. White team never punted. Is that a concern for the defense? I bet it was simply more of a case of the white team having more starters at most spots on both offense and defense, especially in the lines. I agree the receivers performed very well. On many receptions the coverage was fine and the receivers used their athleticism to come up with the ball. Also agree that the physical condition of the players appears to be improved. Glad he changed the format to more of a regular game. That allowed the fans to have a better feel for the status of the program.
White team had our OC calling plays and red team had our WR coach calling plays, you would think white offense would have an advantage there
He is still the OC..who has been working side by side the guy who will be calling them for a lot longer than Tim Leger. Sale is still in charge of installing the offense when Napier is doing other things. Would you want Pete Carmichael calling plays? Or Curtis Johnson?
