You better just tell her she's pretty... and leave out that mean comment... or you're going to get a lot "more" individual practice on your own skin flute.

Get some QB protection for whichever starter... and it could get mighty fun to watch these WRs snagging balls out of intelligently run routes. We have the skill talent. We needed the coaching. I think we may have it.

Some could see how poorly our staff used Elijah after Zoe graduated... but they were clueless as to the balance of talent and play calling that sucked the root out of our football tree. We all saw how a coaching staff could step in on a Swiss cheese defense and make it servicable. But the common fan couldn't take his eyes off our QBs... thinking every failed play (or successful one) was due to "that QB". It was a combination of everything on the field. And no QB can succeed with a fifth grade offensive game plan and anything but crisp fundamentals by every athlete on the field.

Any program that includes a passing attack... and doesn't use their stretch WR, inside slot route genius, and clutch TE as a chip block/checkdown receiver... is Stupid with a capital F.

And if Napier has 3 of 4 receivers all within a 10 foot circle at the apex of a pass play... I want him run out of Lafayette. We been there done that.
If we attempt more than 3 passes BETWEEN the hash marks per game, I will be ecstatic. I would love to see a statistic on contested pass plays, because I would bet we were in the top 5% in the country.

Napier mentioned we are hiring 3 new people for our nutrition staff. This will be huge for our entire athletic program now that the money has been allocated.

A lot of that can be help by making short quick throws instead of sitting back there for 3-4 seconds

OL this spring is minus 3 starters from last year due to injuries. So lots of new faces getting reps and winning LOS vs D-Line .
I thought offense definitely out shined defense in yesterday’s scrimmage. Ran it well and threw it well .

Do our lineman look overweight or stream lined ? The main bulk of our Dl will set foot on campus this fall.

Line is getting there . OL and DL . Not a whole bunch of fat guys out there . Pace of practice is very fast . Nutrition will definitely help, probably most overlooked part of coaching at any level .
