That was my only thought as well. He was a weekend guy at some point during his Freshman year but when?

My eyes bleed when we come to the plate. I understand the frustration. But I do think this group will scrap it's way into a regional.

When judging a team, I always ask, how "good is this team's good"? Well, our club has 7 top 50 wins, should have swept USM, DID sweep A&M, beat one of the best teams in college baseball (in dominant fashion) and did all of this while playing inconsistent baseball.

Find me a more battle tested team in the country. Find me a team that has dealt with more bad breaks, youth, injuries, and a tougher schedule while being above .500 and improving? There isn't one.

Idk what our ceiling is, and it certainly won't be pretty, but a post season appearance is within the realm of possibility.

I agree the team can challenge for a regional. However that will have to come in the conference tournament. They get into the top 6 where a play in game is not required and they have as good a chance as any team.

Not necessarily, but certainly more work to do in the form of wins. With current SOS and RPI in 70's only thing lacking is wins and our club controls that part of the equation. With 17 or more wins before selection time, this team will be in at-large consideration. A tall order - yes? Time to pin all hopes on the conference tournament - NO. Especially if Cajuns can also snag the #2 seed in the conference tournament (only 1.5 games back now).

They are putting it together and grinding. This will be a fun ride.
