I would rather have him come back strong next year with Gunner and the rest of the returning cast, maybe either Hogan or Lee will return, and hopefully a new hitting coach and we make a big run. Also, I really hope this is the last season we have to watch McKinnon behind the plate.
I kind of doubt we’re getting a new pitching coach. Without mentioning RP he said he’s not giving up on the team or coaches that have received criticism by fans.

Also today he said he’s a baseball fan. He’s going to watch spring training for 60 days the first year after he retires or gets fired. He’s absolutely feeling the pressure.

Go to Scottsdale, rather than Grapefruit League.

I stopped listening today after the 11th Gunner is gone lament.

Softball lost the heart of the team. Baseball lost Monica, an above average player at best last year.

    End of analysis.
Sorry, Monica wasn't above average at most things. He did throw out .46% of the attempted stolen bases against him.

Gunnar is an 85 mph lefty on Friday night. If you can pitch, 85 is plenty fast enough in college.

I chose not to explain myself... but softball was anything but a normal circumstance. Every sport has injuries year to year. I took the OP to mean losing 2 superstars in a single year, to start a season, lost to injury. But that’s just how I took it.

Turbine... let’s get serious... you never take your rubber boots off... and running this site... I think that would be wise.

I got ya now - thanks - I was looking more at the effects of the personnel loss regardless of reason as I assume Barisaxman was, as well - I'll re-read the post with that in mind.

Monica does not like your decimal.

That has to be the smallest percentage of any catcher to have ever played the game.
