And has it been ruled out completely to move back into the old baseball locker room? Even if it's temporary until the new fieldhouse is built?

It makes me cringe every time I see that Cox building.....from any angle you see it, either from Cajundome Blvd or Bertrand, it really ruins everything. And oh yeah, the maintenance building in from of the Tigue is even worse: fantastic $16 million facility hidden behind an eyesore.

Not really thread drift, just trying to figure out if it is only baseball that needs a new place to rid of that building? If any AD staff is also in there that would have moved to the tower, then that is an added issue to ridding of Cox.

Considering if the athletic department offices are going to be housed in a vacant section 2 story section of the Cajundome, then don't build an office tower adjacent to Cajun Field. The athletic department can function just as well from the Cajundome. Instead plow those savings into football stadium upgrades, a stadium club, proportionate smaller, east and west upper decks ringed with suites and a new press box. Leave the grassy NEZ as is. Round off the seating capacity at 40 K if possible. I'd rather fan $$ contributions go towards stadium upgrades that create more revenues while enhancing t he fan experience we will all enjoy; not go towards office spaces.

That's what i was thinking too: it would solve the office shortage and start the development along congress that is part of the master plan. Once the development takes off, move them to less high-rent digs. Win-win.
