Sweep!! 23-7 overall. 10-2 in SBC play. TXST still unbeaten. It’s going to be a great series in Lafayette.

Watching the replay from the 2nd game yesterday. As South Al and Louisiana always do, they got after each other. Easily the best diamond rivalry we have (softball and baseball.) When they hit the home run to take the lead in the 8th, one of the South Al players is clearly yelling at the crowd or the dug out to “sit down.” Then the next batter strikes out and Lexie tags her out (as a catcher must do when they drop the ball) and they exchange words and eventually bow up. Coaches and players came out to separate them. CST followed #19 around in the dugout for a few seconds after she went to the dug our and it looked like she was planning to wait in the parking lot for whoever would show up after the game. Then you’ve got the 3rd baseman that had the ball knocked out of her glove by Dalton in tears after the game.

Loved it. Would not have it any other way.
