I like the fight, but you can’t lose these games. The Coastal loss looks very bad now and Troy is decent, but TXST isn’t going to lose many this year. You’ve got to give the pitcher some run support.
This team just can't hit. It's very discouraging.

Pretty crazy how much coaching can have an effect on hitting....

They say Glasco is known for having power hitting teams but Comeaux and Ashley have regressed from last year and no reason why Dalton and Chaumont are not hitting it hard.

Ashley barely played last year and until 2 weeks ago Lexie only played about half the time....Chaumont is a freshman and will come around...there wasn't any fall ball to speak of and this Staff and these players have been going thru a transition period wit each other...... Along with a couple of real good players who graduated last year we lost the equivalent of Mantle, Maris and Whitey Ford (Sanders, Creighton and Dendham) who transferred....this team is getting better and hopefully they will continue to improve....

This team will make the postseason and at that point all bets are off. They continue to improve and mature. They will make a run very soon.

exactly Ashley barely played and 26 starts…seven of her 19 hits went for extra bases (3 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs)…generated four multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games…tallied 20 RBI, twice posting a season-high three RBI…was a perfect 3-for-3 with the bases loaded and hit .800 (8-for-10) with a runner on third and less than two outs…

not seeing production like that even with more playing time

Hope you are right. our pitching and defense are keeping us right in every game, just need to start swinging it better. If that happens the sky is the limit.

It may not be this year, but your last sentence isn’t a hope. It’s a given.
