This is really sad news. 25 years old. Way way too young. I didn't know what happened with him once he left here. I recall all of the "stuff". I pray for his family and close friends. My heart goes out to them.

No, there is no issue bringing up the situation and names involved. I think everyone has a respect for JJ and certainly nobody is disrespecting his memory by discussing the past. JJ will always be fondly remembered.

Loved watching JJ play and seeing my 8 year old wearing a beard at one of his games. RIP big man. Sad story.
