Idk if I wouldn’t do the same thing again this week. Schmitt mid week and start Sunday and give hogan another chance in relief. I wouldn’t be against hogan getting 2 innings midweek either. Might buy him a little more time to knock some rust off. Obviously he hasn’t thrown much since the injury.

In 2010, it seems like we were in a similar situation and won 22 out of 25 or something crazy like that. (with much less pitching than we have now). So, I guess it can be done.
