____ LSU......30 points better in RPI and they host....____ the NIT and ____ the NCAA....
It wasn't coaching IMO. They were longer, more athletic and more explosive. We got beat up on the boards on both sides of the ball. They were playing sticky defense and we started throwing up poor shots. Our guys are savvy and experienced. We made a few runs. It just wasn't enough to overcome the athletic discrepancy.
We played awful the entire second quarter
Marlin is a jerk...I use that word so I don't get bumped off this site...how can you get any respect for your program when you don't beat anybody in the top 200 teams in the country, then all you do is complain loss after loss after loss...marlin needs to go cause the way he acted at the end of the game was totally disgraceful to lafayette....his comments all week about not playing at the cajundome and the wooooo is me attitude was nothing more than saying he can't beat an SEC team on the road...remember he also lost to the SEC last place team in ole miss...that's makes him the only coach in america to lose to 2 last place conference teams...what a plug...have some class...you had your shot and got out coached again!!!
I'm almost positive their coach was in a pull-ups commercial not that long ago.
Hell on this crap. Yeah, win and you get respect. Great. You know how you win? Getting as much going in your favor as you can. It's not like we're talking a 50/50 coin toss on where this game should've been played. It 100% should've been in Lafayette. Middle Tennessee, for all their supposed respect, despite all statistical metrics, got left out and disrespected just like we did. The deck will always be stacked in favor of the money. If that game is played at home tonight, maybe we get that win because our guys are in their environment instead of having to go to Baton Rouge and facing a hostile crowd backing a team with the comforts of home.
