Wanted to start a new thread for the new season.

I have emailed everyone that played last year and so far have heard back from the following that they are going to play again.

I have sent PM's to the remaining 4 asking the same question, since I have not heard anything from those people. Hopefully, we will have this ready to go soon for our draft.

Anyone want to make this a long term commitment and make it a keeper league? That basically means, that you get to keep a predetermined number of players from the year before. If we do that, we would start new this season and keep no one from 2017 and start the keepers in 2018. Basically, it means draft young to keep players for the long term.

Just think about it.

I'm in a keeper baseball league for several years. We keep 5 players from the season before. I have had Clayton Kershaw for years now, and basically start the season with a stud pitcher. But that leaves me shorter at position players than other teams. It's a give and take that you need to manage and know how to balance.

With most of us playing last season, everyone knows how to play now and it should be much easier since you know what you need to do.

I'm just getting those that want to play again the opportunity. If people drop out then others can certainly join. We will totally start with clean rosters and do a draft this season.

The Keeper league I am proposing would let you keep lets say 3 players from 2018 on your 2019 team. 2018 will start with totally new slates.

I got you, but that's not going to get much interest if you want to grow your RP league.
