    Home-n-Home

Give the visiting team 75% of the gate over the previous years average attendance.

Also, UGA played Fullerton in a Holiday classic involving several teams. Belmont is in Nashville, so I guess that would be similar to LSU playing at Southern. No idea what USC was thinking. Regardless, these were all one time games and not part of a home-home series.

Vanderbilt has had a home and home series for at least the last 8 years with Middle Tennesee, including when MTSU was a Sun Belt member. The game just happened to be in Nashville instead of the Murph this year.

No. Home & Home opportunities are limited & LSU will use those dates to schedule national powers. Playing other state schools in BR has little benefit to LSU either, but is feasible.
So why does LSU baseball play at in-state schools? Seems to work out just fine for them. Meanwhile, Wade is ordering his cupcakes from out of state.

This is a great point... they bring in lower conference teams all of the time.... just that mindset at the mistake on the river U.... but for me frug em.... RRM is a perfect example of that mentality... use an analogy of Robe humping a 12 year old to try and make a point.... Wal-Mart imbreds

Ok, I really should not have, but i couldn't resist.....I just spent some time checking out the Tigger Pooping site. Their obsession with us is just overwhelming.

There are still countless threads about us, and they are actually spending time to vandalize Marlin's Wikipedia page. They are also having a total hissy fit over our name. One guy has even being printing the 'lsu law' as proof that we should not be 'allowed' to call ourselves 'Louisiana.'

The best part? He also posted it on twitter, but this has has backfired on him spectacularly: Jim Henderson, the UL System prez, _____-slapped him pretty hard lol. First, he pointed out that the 'law' does nothing to prevent using Louisiana, but then he posted this little ditty:

"After we save TOPS and higher ed, this will be our highest priority."

    https://twitter.com/drjbhenderson/st...356389377?s=12

This is all from folks who were totally uninterested in the NIT, and couldn't care less about us. Of course those trashy people are also too stupid to see the irony behind all of their posts.

This is what our fans need to understand:
LSU’s trash ___ fan base is going to ultimately HELP us in our branding. Here’s why...

Fans across the country HATE LSU because of their fans. As these other fan bases are seeing how much our name battle bothers them, they are jumping to take our side because A) it’s common sense to the outsider and B) they want to drive LSU fans nuts.

The beautiful irony in this thing is that the more LSU birches about our name, the more support we’re getting. Just look around social media and see the other fan bases chiming in! It’s hilarious.

So hold strong, endure the abuse and keep fighting with those idiots. We are intellectually superior anyway. Doesn’t take much smarts to win an argument with a toaster.

Yeah, I had read a thread on the SEC Rant a few weeks ago that was hilarious....all the other schools were dumping on lsu, pointing out how silly the whole thing was, and totally agreeing with us. A lot of it is based on the uniform hate for the school and especially its fans, but the end result is just the same.

There are also a few brave possum fans trying to rein in all the ranting posts and behavior, pointing out how silly and ridiculous they are being, but they are few and far between indeed and obviously being ignored.

I honestly don't care if arrogance would require for it to be played in the PMAC every year, just play the darn tournament. Playing in a hostile environment in December would just be good prep for conference play. I also threw out a bone with asking for Wade's precious 3 year rolling RPI to be used for seeding but nobody took it. If it would be played next year (using current RPI for 2018) the Cajuns would be the 1 seed with an average of 107. LSU would be the 2 with a 128, Tech would be the 3 with a 146. Guess who would be the 4 seed? ULM with an average of 206. That just shows how bad college basketball in this state currently is. 9 of the 12 D1 schools have an average RPI over 206, the median for all D1 schools is 175.5.
In case your wondering Tulane is 233 (I would hope Dunleavy keeps them on an upward trend) Nichols 238, Southeastern 244, UNO 248, Southern 277, Grambling 307, Mcnesse 317 and NW St 330.

Which is why scheduling any of the Louisiana SLC or SWAC teams is very bad business.
