As someone said earlier, this weekend was a kick to the testes for Cajun sports all around. I stayed pi$%ed off and aggravated most of the time. It hurts to be a fan of UL sometimes, not gonna lie.

Cajuns fans will show up in droves, and the NIT will praise LSU for their sellout (and reward them in the future for it).
Nothing about this is good for us.
Welcome guests!
I see the LSU game as a chance for redemption. The basketball team fell short of its goal. It was an NCAA or Bust attitude on this team and they (and the fans) are disappointed. This team deserves a better fate but this is the hand we have been dealt. We picked a bad time to have injuries/illnesses. But this LSU game gives this team a second chance. Stove, Barkley, Washington, Evans, Russell, Hardy, Aucoin and Broussard are all from Louisiana and would like nothing better than to beat LSU. No other team we could have drawn in the NIT would have meant as much and no other team can give this team what it truly craves. . . . redemption. We talk about perception and atonement. This team has now been given an opportunity to capture both.
So what then are you and MAT's solutions to the Cajuns being sentenced to a post season NIT game in BR?
1 shame and berate Cajun fans that still want to support their team on Wednesday?
2. No show, team and all because BR might get some benefit from it?
3. File suit for TRO cause the Cajuns have been wronged?
. . . ???????
Let us all know?
None of the above. Don't lump me in with MAT. We are not of like mind.
Show up in droves and support our guys, if you can. Because it doesn't matter what the NIT, NCAA, ESPN, Advocate, Corndogs, or anyone else thinks: these are our guys that have represented this university with class and heart and soul.
Go win the whole damn thing.
"The system" is clearly getting worse each year. Which defies logic as there is more information each year, that proves only one thing.....
