They go out of their way to protect the top seeds.

If they really picked the best 66 teams in the country and looked at unusual situations like illness, we would be in. But that is not their priority.

It would be a travesty if we do not get at least one home game.

Yeah I don’t think that would go over to well.

Not even a question. NIT > any other tournament not named the NCAA.

College Roundtable has us as the 9th overall seed, hosting Temple in the first round of the NIT.

You are right and even it used to challenge NCAA, but do you understand what term "option" means, lol

We certainly have the option, but don’t believe any team would opt out of the NIT to host a CBI/CIT event if that’s what you’re asking.

    Thank you!

Would have been nice if NCAA had gotten their act together regarding the FBI investigation to impose postseason bans in a timely fashion. could have egg on face if more info comes out regarding a team as they advance through the bracket should have been more at large spots than ever

    Wow, thanks for link.
The three-point line will be extended back 20 inches to what the arc is in FIBA play
The free throw line will be widened four feet to NBA regulation
Games will play out in four, 10-minute quarters instead of two, 20-minute halves. Teams will shoot free throws after the fifth foul of each quarter
The shot clock resets to 20 seconds after offensive rebounds instead of 30 seconds
