If by Cinderella you mean double digit seed, I'd say New Mexico State, SFA or UCLA. UCLA may not sound like a Cinderella but they were in the last 4 in and are in a play-in game just to start.
My! How times have changed. UCLA a Cinderella! That is funny!
I can see New Mexico State and SFA as Cinderellas.

One more could possibly be South Dakota St. They play a very weird Ohio State team that got real hot in Big 10 play and bumped up their numbers a lot there but I've seen them play a couple times and have not been real impressed. I could see them stumble there.
Big East got 2 #1 seeds and 6 teams in overall. They are not a "high" major. They are a major conference.
With the exception of the MWC, every conference that got multiple bids this year is considered a high major by the folks in charge of the tournament. Even the MWC is in the gray area between high major and mid major.
And you would be correct.
It is a shame St. Mary's was denied one for the likes of a Syracuse who I think had a sub .500 conference record.
Who is this year's Cinderella?
Guys and Gals keep an eye on Loyola. Not a sexy team by any means but the way they share the basketball and play D they can pull a couple upsets
