In all Seriousness, who really have we beat? Look at the schedule. We beat a bunch of bad teams.

That's the hard part Rick. Wasington, Stove, Bartley and others are stand up guys that deserved a better fate. The life lesson here is that we all fail at times, not just in sports. I hope it feeds their drive to be even more successful in the NIT and in life.

Marlin is a good coach. Can't blame him. Team had a great season.

My expectations: At least one non conference home game a year vs a top 100 team. A conference regular season title not less than every other year. A conference tournament title not less than two years in five. At least 2 top 100 wins per year. A winning road and neutral site record against top 200 RPI opponents every year. At least 2 NCAA tournament wins per five year period. An at large worthy team at least once in 5 years.

Every one of those goals has been attained over the last 10 year period by MTSU. No valid reason we should be worse.

I’m not being a prisoner of the moment. This is one of the biggest losses in our history. This team could have won a game in the tourney, maybe 2. The money, exposure, brand awareness that we just lost is colossal.

Plus I really like these guys on a personal level. And I don’t think we’ll ever have a more complete team than this one was.

I don't see how y'all can be on here talking about marlins future and what not. It was heartbreaking seeing our players faces after the game, say what you want about how we didn't have a big time win this year but these kids busted their ___ and represented the university as men. I thought with Gant catching and unfortunate bug and stove obviously not healthy they gave their best. This had nothing to do with marlin it just some people have to always be negative to be happy. Am I disappointed we didn't make the tournament you damn right but we didn't lose to a donkey team and we weren't fully healthy which we were most of the year.

The truth is the matter is, we are all way too emotional to be objective about what happened. There are plenty of things that can be dissected but I'm mentally exhausted and too disappointed to even begin that process.

    Same here.

Fans do own program And few now are advocating a change in staff. Majority of folks think they are doing a good job. Not all of course and a couple of disappointing seasons can change things.
