I'm pretty sure it was pretty serious. No doubt Gant didn't just wuss out on his team. Not a doubt in my mind he was really sick. My guess is trainers shut him down, because he did not look happy on the bench either day - and not just because he was sick.

Hawk, take a look a the poorly misjudged shots we took all game. Take a look at the lack of drives we tried to make on the inside. Again, the refs were awful. But I will not sit here and blame the refs for our awful coaching and decision making. That’s on us.

When we did drive it, we had good results. The rushed shots have been a problem, but we've had such big leads that it didn't hurt us. Conference time, games are closer and you have to be flexible with the offense and work it inside. Gang not being there and not working harder to get the ball to Bartley more in the 2nd half hurt. This sucks...UTA better win this tournament and win one.

Dude was on bench coughing his damn lungs out. He tried to gut it out and play for his team, he just couldn't though

I feel for him because for the next 7 months he will be stuck feeling bad because he couldn't be out there with his teammates

What a waist of such an amazing season. This one will hurt for a while especially if Georgia state wins it.

"Head cold" in coach speak to media translates closer to probably bronchitis. Gant would've been out there if he could've played.

and even that is hindsight bias. This is march, you want your best guys out there

You guys either weren’t watching or are absolutely fu&$#ng crazy if you think the refs didn’t not impact or cost us to lose that game. We didn’t not play our best basketball, but we did enough to win that game. We should have been shooting 2 with a minute to go and a 1 point lead when the “charge” on Stroman was called

The refs made at least 2 bad calls that went our way, also.

The refs weren't the difference. We got them into the bonus with 11 minutes left and jacked up 3's instead of getting to the foul line.
