Stove looked like he was still hurting. I doubt he can make a huge improvement in one day. I am hopeful Gant will improve. He looked like he could have played if needed.

Im sure he will play. He probably could have played second half yesterday but coach marlin knew we would without him so he held him out.

This game scares me - probably more than GA State or GA Southern. UTA is explosive. Neal went off yesterday. There is a reason they were picked preseason #1. When they play together as a team, they can beat almost anybody. They won at BYU. They lost by just 1 at Alabama. They can be very good.

But - if the refs allow the Cajuns to defend and call the game fairly - letting them play a little on both sides, Cajuns will triumph.

Prediction: Cajuns 83 Mavs 76.
