This must have been before yesterday's game. We only have 7 games left. According to this, since we lost yesterday, there's no way for us to reach top 45.

We can still get there. We are only .00733 behind Louisville at #41. Biggest thing we can do is just win the remaining 7 games.

That would appear to be the case.

Wow, there's 1A high schools down here that have a nicer ballpark than what they have. Heck, the UL intramural field is even nicer than that. They don't even have a scoreboard.

It's no wonder they can't win. There is not one player with any ounce of baseball talent (or dignity for that matter) that would want to play in that sorry excuse for a ballpark. It's a shame.

Theriot Money Laundering Stadium in Abbeville looks like a major league park compared to that

I read somewhere on twitter Saturday night that they are actually 40 losses away from the all time record for consecutive losses.

Not true. All other things being equal ... If the Cajuns win out at home (4-0) and take 2/3 at Texas State, this places them at #48 in the current RPI rankings. Winning out (7-0) puts them at #40.

Of course, all other things will not necessarily be equal ... some will depend on what the teams around the Cajuns in the rankings do ... as well as the Cajuns' opponents and opponents' opponents.

6-1 with an RPI of 48 puts us in a good spot if we were to win a couple of games in the tournament, right?
