This must have been before yesterday's game. We only have 7 games left. According to this, since we lost yesterday, there's no way for us to reach top 45.

Not true. All other things being equal ... If the Cajuns win out at home (4-0) and take 2/3 at Texas State, this places them at #48 in the current RPI rankings. Winning out (7-0) puts them at #40.

Of course, all other things will not necessarily be equal ... some will depend on what the teams around the Cajuns in the rankings do ... as well as the Cajuns' opponents and opponents' opponents.

It puts us in the conversation. A #48 RPI without a conference title is never in a good spot. But the better that record is vs. the RPI Top 50 ...
