Doesnt bother me paying $60 for parking, but what does this do to the levels of RCAF parking passes?

I expect this is part of a workaround for the items to be listed as "donations"; your RCAF donation level will determine where your parking pass is; the donation will be 100% or close donation and the pass will be a service.

What is considered “premium parking”? Does this apply to all levels of parking?

I would think premium parking would be part of the parking lot sectioned off for RCAF and season ticket holder. The more you give the closer to the action you will park. Now for the non-season ticket holder and non RCAF donors, there must be a parking section for them also. You will have more of them then the big donors. You have fans that only want to see football played. The end-zone general admission fan. Better not shove them to the curb and say you don't belong.......

I would hope that they charge for non-RCAF parking across Congress as well as at the Cajundome and Blackham. For those locations parking should be $5 per game. We're having to pay $10 per game to park at Cajun Field.

    so.....

you no longer get parking passes for a certain lot with your rcaf donation? now you must donate, then buy a parking pass?

Frenchie, I don't think the intent is to push anyone to the curb. It is to actually encourage and provide incentives for folks to get more involved financially. But it is also unreasonable for those that choose not to purchase season tickets or make a contribution to the RCAF to have the same privileges or access and conveniences of those that do. At some point, as prices rise, I too may have to end up with having to walk a little farther than I do now. But for years many of us have been screaming for UL to make an effort to advance its athletic department, teams and conference affiliation. Dr. Savoie & Dr. Maggard are apparently now making an effort to answer our prayers and we will have to realize that the associated cost must come from somewhere. One of those sources has to be more money from fans. That's life in todays world of college athletics.

Yep. Looks like it. And location will be dictated by your RCAF level of giving. Makes sense.

Same as now except it's an extra $60 for football... I would expect a similar fee for other sports as well. Wonder if that will be per pass or per account... i.e. will it be $120 for those whose level warrants 2 passes?
