Two late rallies propelled No. 7 Kentucky past the Louisiana baseball team on Sunday as the Ragin' Cajuns fell 10-4 on the final day of the Shriners College Classic at Minute Maid Park.

The Cajuns grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the second when Hayden Cantrelle brought home Hunter Kasuls on sacrifice fly to centerfield. The lead would be short-lived though as Ryan Shinn put Kentucky in front 2-1 on a two-out, two-run triple to right center in the bottom half of the second.

Louisiana pulled even in the top of the sixth as Daniel Lahare came home to score on a passed ball. Later in the inning, Moll singled back up the middle with two outs to plate Kennon Fontenot and give the Ragin' Cajuns a 3-2 edge.

For the second time in the game, UK answered quickly exploding for four runs on four hits and a walk to regain the advantage 6-3. A solo home run to right field by T.J. Collett highlighted the scoring in the inning.

The Ragin' Cajuns and Wildcats traded runs in the seventh as Cantrelle scored on an RBI groundout by Lahare, while Kentucky picked up an insurance run on a pinch hit single by Zeke Lewis to make the score 7-4.

The Wildcats tacked on three more runs in the bottom of the eighth to make the final 10-4.
