Thread: Cajuns weren't ready for what should have been a party

  1. UL Basketball Cajuns weren't ready for what should have been a party

On an evening seemingly fit for a party, just about all that could have gone wrong for the UL basketball team did.

The Ragin’ Cajuns, Sun Belt Conference regular-season champions, lost 72-61 in overtime to Little Rock, the league’s last-place team, in their final game of the 2017-18 regular season Saturday night at the Cajundome.

After Ryan Pippins hit a 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining in regulation, UL’s Malik Marquetti did hit two free throws with 1.1 seconds left to force OT.
