I have no inside information so the following is only an opinion. I would not be surprised if it is announced within the next few days that JB has signed with a major basketball school. I think the belief that he would play only here was accurate at the time. However if an unexpected and significant NIL offer became available he would have to reconsider. I think that is what happened. Also, keep in mind that Jordan has already graduated. I for one thank him for his efforts here and wish him well going forward
Fulks returning had nothing to do with JB returning. Got that from a team Dad close to the Fulks’.
Cannot say I’m surprised. Either we couldn’t raise enough (shocking…not) or JB’s asking price was beyond reason.
I get it, JB has a degree in hand. NBA didn’t have him on their radar. A great NIL deal probably out weighs a foreign deal.
Not the program’s fault. Made the NCAA’s, multiple watch lists…pro scouts knew who he was. And what he is as a player and NBA prospect.
There was gonna be issues even if came back for his final year. If he goes to another school he will have the same issues there. I’ll leave it at that. Good luck and thank you JB
