I think I know who this is. Closest JUCO school to us is LSUE. Simply go to their athletic website and view their roster. There is a player from STM listed on there. Note, he was not one of LSUE's top performers this past season however he was a freshman and they had several good older guys on the roster. I will let the guy who first hinted at this release his name. As far as the Cajuns are concerned, I suspect they are likely to bring a new walkon to the team this upcoming season. The one they planned to use last year, Isaiah Crawford from New Oreleans, developed a medical issue and was never cleared to play. Therefore it is very possible a former player from STM could become a cajun walkon. Going back to the original premise of the thread, summer school starts Monday and basketball does offer summer school scholarships. I suspect the summer workouts for basketball will start the middle of next week. Jordan Brown and all other players will have to be enrolled in summer school in order to participate in those.

Considering he never received an invitation to the pre-draft camp, and hasn't shown up on any pre-draft list in the Top 70 draft eligible athletes, this was expected. He can return here, play overseas or hit the transfer portal.

Don't think this is telling either way. He was never going to play in the NBA. Was always going overseas so that option is still out there.

If he was resigned to the fact that he'd never play in the NBA, he wouldn't have had his name in the draft and certainly wouldn't have had it in so late in the process. The draft is this month.

Forgot about that, yes so overseas and transfer would still be in play, but I do believe the transfer would be less likely than the overseas.

Here is my best guess:

60% Chance of Playing back for the Cajuns in 2023/24
30% Chance playing overseas
10% Chance he takes another transfer

I hope selfishly he comes back, he is becoming one of my favorite all time players for the Cajuns. I am sure he is getting good advice from his team (by this I mean his external team, not the Cajuns teammates/family and Coaches and other influences.

If he comes back and we add a couple of small pieces (still think we need to find a big body to replace Terrance Lewis III as a transfer now that we don't have Richards) if that is the case, this team can be really good next season.

Got to find some shooting in a big way. Losing Williams and Dalcourt means we are losing 2 of our 3 best perimeter shooters and guys who can create their own shot. Garnett is a set shooter so it will be tough for him to go off if defenses are keying on him.

My son grew up playing with him in biddy. Roster has him listed as a guard but he never played it in high school.
