The more exposure he can get, the better, and Nevada will be on a lot more TV screens than the Ragin' Cajuns over the next year or two. It's just a fact of life, and will be as long as we're stuck here "rising together."
One thing that hasn’t been mentioned about Nevada and why Brown may have decided to select that school is that their head coach is a former NBA head coach. I’m sure his NBA experience plus his current success at Nevada played a big part in Brown’s selection.

I'm aware of that Mike, but they are not elite. Their combined NCAA tournament record is 6-8 and before 2017 and 2018, their last trip to the field of 64 was 2007. That is not an elite program, but simply better that ours.

Making the NCAA and winning a game is massive exposure not only for the school but players .. I don't blame a kid for wanting that we have failed to win a NCAA game since 92 or a NIT game since 85 thats just embarrassing

I never said they were an elite program. I said they were a "good" program. Someone disagreed with that description. I think by all accounts they are a good program at this stage and yes they are better than ours right now.

It all depends on what your definition of "good" is. Like you said in another post, they had a nice year and are in a better conference but I don't necessarily go as far as to say "good" program. I say that because like in football, I think it takes time to build a great program. There's a consistency that inherently defines how good of a program you have along with success of course. Program's can have a bad year but when its in the middle of a really good 10 year span, you still have a good program. Also, I don't necessarily say someone has a good program if they lose their coach or star player and then they lose their mojo and everything goes downhill. Programs, to me, can outlast changes like that and continue because they've had consistent recruiting.

Again, we are all talking semantics and I'm fine with people disagreeing. I just feel that a program is built and defined by more long term success than what Nevada has. I would agree that their program is in a much better place than ours at this point, that is for sure.

They’ve been to post season a number of times. A few CBI but mostly NIT, and NCAA. Many after 2000. I’d rate them good, but not yet a destination program.

The list doesn’t include the sweet sixteen run with all its stars returning. Yeah they’re pretty good right now plus Brown.

Nothing as of yet that I have heard. I am sure he is still reviewing his options and where he might land.

He was not invited to the NBA camp/combine. The odds are going up that he is coming back for another season. Need some NIL money coming in.
