    Seats.
Concession prices don't keep me from going to the games, but the weak beer selection and high prices means I drink beer in the parking lot before the game and during halftime

The beer selection at football and baseball games blows away the crap currently available at the dome.

I think having the top closed hurts attendance more than concession prices.

There are still cheap seats, they are behind the goal, opposite of the student section. I believe they are $10.

Why? Aren’t the seats behind the goals now the cheap seats? What are the differences in prices?

I think people with young ones don’t see it as worth it anymore.

Understood but you can get a ticket for basically $5 for tomorrow nights game. Outside of the normal 4500 or so, People just don’t care anymore

And there aren't the fans for this game that there was for that one. It is just a different day for college basketball.

That’s news to me and i follow every athletic account. One of our best teams ever and attendance never really increased. We have had higher attended games in recent years Before they closed the top with extremely mediocre teams. For a family of 4 to drop $40 just to get in and the little ones barely pay attention i think has turned a segment of people away. We can either look at things that have changed or just chalk it up to “people don’t care anymore” attendance has gone down since the upgrade and new rules even with a 26-4 conference champion that is the most fun to watch since 2005.

A can of beer is $5 at the beer garden. Ice cold!

Cost of game, economy, realization that only three games in NOLA means anything to the selection committee.

    5600 hopefully

Baseball prices are similar so I don’t buy that as the reason support has waned. Fact that no at large bids available is probably a factor as Express has said. It is that way everywhere in the south for mid majors. However it is disappointing that this special team will never get a crowd of 6000 to see them. I will say this. People going to games recently are putting passion into their support. Also many are still following either online or on radio.
